Head Coach Lee Willing

Lee WillingCoach Lee is in his 20th year of coaching swimming. He comes from San Antonio where he was an All-State Swimmer at Central catholic High School. After a short stint swimming at Henderson State University, Coach Lee returned to San Antonio and received his BA in Political Science at Our Lady of the Lake University and began his coaching career.

Through the years Coach Lee has enjoyed success at all levels from Summer League to College coaching numerous Texas Age Group Champions, National Top 16 swimmers, High School All-Americans, NCAA Qualifiers, US Open and USA Swimming Junior and Senior National Qualifiers. In fact, several of Coach Lee's former swimmers are now coaches themselves coaching at the High School and Club levels.

Coach Lee has earned several awards over the years including High School District Coach of the Year (12x), Regional Coach of the Year (3x) and South Texas Open Water Coach of the Year.

Coach Lee continues to be involved in the leadership of our sport. He currently is on the Manager's List for USA Swimming's National Team program and sits as a member of the National Diversity Committee. He is a former South Texas LSC Board Member and in 2002 was named an ASCA Fellow. He has also been the Head Coach of both South Texas and Montana Zone Teams and has been an assistant at several LSC and Zone Training Camps.

Coach Lee is currently a teacher and is also the Head Swimming and Diving Coach at LBJ High School here in Austin.

Coach Juli Zamora

Juli ZamoraCoach Juli Zamora grew up in Brownsville, Texas where she swam competitively year round, as well as on her high school team. She taught swimming lessons for 8 years and began coaching USA swimming in the year 2000. She later moved to San Marcos where she continued to coach a year round program and graduated from Texas State University with a BA in English and a minor in Coaching Athletics.

As a USA Swim Coach, Juli has trained Texas Age Group Medalists, National Top 16 swimmers and relays, South Texas Age Group Champions, Sectional Finalists, and has been a coach of South Texas Zones and All-Star Teams. She began coaching high school in Pflugerville where she was part of such successes as Hendrickson High School’s first Regional Medalists, and Pflugerville’s 5th place Team finish at State. In 2006 she took the position as the Head Coach of Anderson High School she has been named District 25-5A Coach of the Year for the past two years. Since 2007 Anderson has had 9 swimmers named to the All-American Team, and 12 to the All-State Team. The Trojans finished in the top 20 at the 5A Texas State Meet in 2007 and 12th in 2008.

Juli enjoys coaching all levels of the sport of swimming, and has high expectations of her athletes. Along with Anderson, she currently coaches with a year round club program, Lost Creek Aquatics at Courtyard, and a summer league team, Balcones Woods Blue Wave.
